Ms. Gu is a CPA and CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ Professional and a registered Investment Representative with Cetera Financial Specialist (Cetera Financial Group is the second largest broker/dealer in U.S.). She has 20+ years of experience in Wealth Management, Hedge Fund and Fund of fund Industries. From 2010 to 2017, Ms. Gu held a senior finance role and a member of valuation committee at Crestwood Capital Management, a $1.2 billion long-short hedge fund, where she built all finance infrastructure and risk management operation upon joining the firm when it just span off from a major financial institution. From 2009 to 2010, Ms. Gu was the Chief Financial Officer of Parametric Capital Management (ranked #1 on 2016 Barron top 100 Hedge funds) providing oversight for all aspects of the quantitative hedge fund and Management Company. From 2000 to 2009, she served as vice president at a Direct lending BDC filling for an NYSE IPO; had spent seven years as the controller for a $4 billion convertible arbitrage credit hedge fund; Ms. Gu began her hedge fund career in 1998 as an Associate at Grosvenor Capital Management.

From 1993 to 1996, Ms. Gu was the floor trader in Shanghai Petroleum futures exchange. Ms. Gu has Master of Science in Accountancy from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign and BS degree in International Economics from Shanghai University of international Business and Economics.

Ms. Gu is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Charted Global Management Accountant (CGMA). She is Member of AICPA ( American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) Member of FPA ( Financial Planning Association) FINRA Registered Financial Advisor (series 7) FINRA Registered Investment Advisor Representative (series 66) Member of the Chinese American Society of CPAs ( CASCPA).
